NASA Space Biology has released a ROSES Program Element titled \u201cE.11 Research Pathfinder for Beyond Low Earth Orbit Space Biology Investigations\u201d on August 11, 2022.<\/p>\n

The opportunity solicits proposals for biological research experiments to be flown beyond LEO as internal payloads on the capsule of the Orion spacecraft during the upcoming Artemis II mission. To be eligible, proposals to this program element must utilize and will be limited to only one of the two following model organisms: Drosophila melanogaster<\/em> (fruit fly) or Caenorhabditis elegans<\/em> (nematode). The awards will be for amounts up to $750,000 across three years.<\/p>\n
