Wallace comes to the UW from Rutgers University, where she was Assistant Professor of Political Science from 2012 to 2016. During the 2015-2016 academic year, Wallace was also a Ford Foundation Fellow in the Department of Political Science at the University of Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n<p>Wallace will help WISIR strengthen its programming in Latino politics, representation, social movements, and immigration politics and policy. Her work has been published in the <em>American Journal of Political Science<\/em>, <em>Political Research Quarterly<\/em>,\u00a0<em>American Politics Research<\/em>, <em>Social Science Quarterly<\/em>, <em>Political Science Quarterly<\/em>, and\u00a0<em>Politics, Groups, &amp; Identities.<\/em> She is a co-founder and co-organizer of SPIRE, Symposium on the Politics of Immigration, Race, and Ethnicity, which is an annual conference of race, ethnicity, and politics scholars.
