Welcome
Our lab is focused on understanding bacterial sociality. We study quorum sensing, a type of intercellular communication system of bacteria. We are interested in using quorum sensing to model social behaviors including cooperation and mutualism. Our studies seek to identify molecular mechanisms by which such behaviors can be established and maintained in populations.
