We are currently hiring a Digital Painter to join our Creative team!
Digital Painter for Fine Art Content Creator in Seattle (SODO) (Seattle)
Grand Image, the nation’s leading Fine Art content creator and art publisher is seeking a full time digital painter.
This position is not a traditional graphic design position. It is also not a game design position. Candidate will be creating artwork for wall décor in the interior design industry.
Responsibilities
Creating digital artwork, graphic designs, as well as repeatable patterns to be turned into wall murals.
Ability to multi-task, take direction, work independently, work with deadlines.
Position will also include image retouching, color matching, and compositing.
Experience with file prep for rigid substrates, die-lines, wall covering, 3 dimensional products helpful.
Requirements
Experience in the Art, Design or interiors industries; Ability to identify changing priorities and shift assets to manage deliverables; Excellent verbal and written skill; Prior experience in wall covering or textile design/fabric patterning a plus; Working knowledge of the fashion and home décor markets; A painting, drawing or photography background; Highly developed sense of design, composition and color; Comfortable in a MAC or PC environment
