Capillaries, a student-run journal at UW focused on medical humanities, is accepting student submissions for the Spring 2021 issue! This is a place for students of all majors and backgrounds to write and create works of art about their experiences with health, illness, and healing. We publish a journal each quarter, and in past editions, we have shared stories of love and loss, of coming to terms with one’s identity, and of understanding what it means to be a global citizen in the 21st century.
The goal is to provide a space for all undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff, and general UW community members to reflect and engage in dialogue on stories that might otherwise go unheard.
