SAM seeks Digital Marketing Specialist

OVERVIEW: Seattle Art Museum is searching for a Digital Marketing Specialist to play a key role in the Marketing & Communications division. The ideal candidate is a savvy digital marketer who is creative, a strategic thinker, possesses outstanding analytical capabilities and has a passion for the arts. They will have an innate ability to engage across social media, understand how to execute and evaluate a targeted e-mail campaign, and love digging into data and analyzing trends to maximize digital campaign performance and measure success. The candidate must be able to work effectively across a wide range of internal teams, lead short- and long-term digital marketing projects, and comfortably and quickly adjust to changing priorities and situations.

REPORTS TO: Content Strategist & Social Media Manager

COMPENSATION: $26.79-$30.97 hourly DOE

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Maintain and help support the growth of digital marketing channels including social media, web/blog, email, and organic/paid search via Google Ads/Google Grant.
Contribute to the development of digital marketing campaigns and create content for paid and organic social media to grow and optimize channels.
Set-up, execute, optimize, and manage targeted social media ad campaigns through Facebook Ads Manager.
Actively monitor and engage across social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Google, and Tiktok to maximize community experience, address customer service issues, and increase effectiveness of these channels.
Help execute email marketing/remarketing campaigns including list segmentation, pre-deployment testing, and integration with ticketing platforms.
Provide on-site social/streaming support and coverage for programs, openings, events, etc.
Work collaboratively with the Marketing Content Creator to concept, write, and develop content tailored to SAM’s social media channels,.
Write for different audiences, reflecting SAM’s values and commitment to equity
Analyze, evaluate, and report effectiveness of organic efforts and paid campaigns to help evolve ongoing digital marketing strategy.
Works with departmental tools to organize and share deliverables, including Asana, Canto, Sharepoint, WordPress, Restream, Google drive, Sprout, and Rev.
Supports Marketing & Communications staff as necessary.
