The UW Q Center seeks an attentive undergraduate student to fill the Communication and Digital Organizing Specialist role on our team. This position will lead the Q Center’s communication endeavors and provide general oversight for all Q Center social media. The Communication and Digital Organizing Specialist will play a key part in facilitating/supporting community-sustaining initiatives through the development of short-term promotional plans, misc. media, and community-centered storytelling. In this role, there will be opportunities to develop peer facilitation skills, public relations experience, and coordinate on- and off-campus. 

This role is designed to work collaboratively with Q Center undergraduate staff, undergraduate interns, and graduate staff members. The Communication and Digital Organizing Specialist will report directly to the Assistant Director. It is additionally supported by the Associate Director, Leadership Development Advisor, and Wellness Manager as needed.

The UW Q Center seeks a dynamic undergraduate student to fill the Student Engagement Coordinator role on our team. This position will lead Q Center outreach efforts and provide oversight on internal sharing systems. The Student Engagement Coordinator will play a key part in facilitating community-sustaining initiatives by supporting staple and emergent social, educational, and wellness programs. There is also an opportunity to develop editorial skills, gain facilitation and project management experience, and coordinate programs & events–both in person and virtually.

This role is designed to work collaboratively with Q Center undergraduate staff, undergraduate interns, and graduate staff members. The Student Engagement Coordinator will report directly to the Assistant Director. It is additionally supported by the Associate Director, Leadership Development Advisor, and Wellness Manager as needed.
