Boon Boona Coffee- a local, black-owned roastery specializing in east African coffee- is seeking art submissions!
As a company that focuses on celebrating local voices and giving back to marginalized communities, Boon Boona Coffee would like to extend an invite to showcase art from anyone from the local lgbtqa+ or BIPOC communities! Whether you’re a UW student, or know someone wanting a safe space to display art, we gotchu.
Located inside the University Bookstore, the cafe is only available to show mostly prints as we have limited space and limited walls (willing to talk about other forms of art)! Title cards, artist information placards, etc., are not expected but always welcomed.
If enough submissions are submitted, more than willing to start a waitlist for artist rotation!
