The Family Programs intern is a member of the Seattle Art Museum Education department. This intern will assist program staff to provide meaningful, hands-on experiences for children and families. They will help develop programming for SAM Camp, act as camp assistants, research and evaluate family resources at the museum, and offer programmatic support for children and families at the museum.

There will be one opening for Family Programs interns this summer.

PAY RANGE: The hourly rate for this role is $21.00.

Seattle Art Museum Summer Camp: Counselors and Senior Counselors

The SAM Summer Camp Counselor is a member of the Seattle Art Museum Education department. This counselor will assist Teaching Artists and program staff to provide meaningful, hands-on experiences for children and families. They will facilitate art experiences and provide creative guidance, classroom management, and mentorship for children entering grades 1 – 6 during a three week summer camp.

There will be four openings for Summer Camp Counselors this summer. Interviews will be scheduled during the first half of May 2024.

COMPENSATION:

$19.97 per hour for Counselors, $21 per hour for Senior Counselors
