Second year UW Museology student, Jessica Conway, seeks UW undergraduate student participation in research study on art museums and emotional wellbeing.
By exploring the experience of teens and college students in art museums and the impacts on their emotional wellbeing, we can better understand how museum professionals can design experiences to help young people navigate their mental health.
The participation requirements would be for students to visit an art museum (The Henry Art Gallery or the Frye Art Museum – both sites are operating at reduced capacity) and attend a 15-20 minute interview via Zoom after their visit. All participants should follow CDC guidelines. All participants will be provided with free admission to their museum of choice and given a $5 Tango gift card.
