-During the 8 to 10 week program, this intern will work across departments to complete a project, connect with staff, and develop a presentation inspired by SAM’s special exhibitions or permanent collection
-Working with their supervisors, the intern will learn to navigate a multi-department organization, build a professional network, and learn about the career paths of other museum professionals
-The intern will have ownership of a project in their chosen department, and will build skills in research, professional writing, public engagement, and/or community outreach
-Working with host departments, complete departmental projects as assigned
-Support the home department
-This may include research and content development, program support, and administrative support
