UW Housing and Food Services is hosting a PAC-12 Housing Officer Conference that will happen March 3rd to March 6th for 50 – 60 people. This is a meeting/conference where Senior Housing Officers come together from all PAC-12 institutions to discuss trends and ideas for the future of on-campus housing. I am contacting you because we are looking to have student engagement during the conference. We are having a reception on Monday 3/4 at 6:30 pm and want to put on a student art show. Artists will have an opportunity to introduce themselves to conference attendees, display their pieces, and enjoy dinner with the group following the reception.
We are looking for 5- 8 art students and are hoping each will bring 1 – 3 pieces to display. We are interested in art with themes such as Identity, Coming of Age, Student Life, Local Inspiration, PNW & Outdoors, etc. My colleague Michael and I will need to preview the pieces to be shown before the event.
