AMP Lab: Amplifying Movement & Performance

Participate!

There are many ways to get involved in the AMP Lab, from taking a tour, volunteering for research, or using the space for your research or teaching.

Get Involved with Research

Many students from UW and the community are engaged with research projects. If you are interested in volunteering for research conducted in the AMP Lab, check out the lab websites of the AMP Principal Investigators and Directors. Each lab conducts unique research that uses different skills from engineering and rehabilitation medicine. Our research bridges many different topics and clinical populations including cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, and many others.

Volunteer as a Research Participant

Understanding how the human body works and the effect of novel interventions is challenging. We will post studies that are recruiting participants here and please also check out the PI websites for more information.

Support Us!

Our collaborative and interdisciplinary work is often supported by private donations. These funds are critical to help us start new projects, collect pilot data, and give students the opportunity to participate in interdisciplinary project teams.
