CHDD Conference Rooms

Located in the CHDD Clinic Building

CD150 is a fully accessible, 100 seat auditorium located at the Center on Human Development and Disability on the University of Washington campus.
CD150 may be used by UW projects at no cost. CHDD affiliates receive priority in the scheduling of CD150.

Training is required before scheduled usage of CD150. See Training

Equipment & capabilities:

  • LCD high resolution projection from built in Windows XP Computer
  • Laptop (Mac or PC) connection to LCD projection system
  • Direct Internet connection
  • Videotape (VHS)/DVD projection
  • Teleconferencing--direct connection to UW video
  • Elmo presentation system for viewing books, 3D objects
  • Overhead projector

Location

  • CD150 is located in the Experimental Education Unit (EEU) building - the one story school directly east of the clinic building on the University of Washington south campus. Directions to CD150

2) If desired date is available, select form below, fill out Word file and save file or print pdf file and fill out.

3) Email Word file to chddroom@u.washington.edu or
send printed forms to the CHDD administration, room CD399 box 357920.

Responsibility

  • User groups must designate an individual to be responsible for your use of the facility. If the person has not used CD150 previously they must be trained by CHDD media personnel (see next heading).
  • The designated person trained for your event is responsible for all room functions:
    • opening the facility--obtaining key, unlocking doors, turning on lights, etc
    • proper set up and use of all equipment during room use
    • shutting down the av equipment properly
    • closing the facility--turning off the lights, locking doors, returning keys, etc.
  • CHDD media personnel do not provide support during your event.

Training & Instructions

Teleconferences/Voice Conferencing

  • Teleconferences in CD150 are received via fiber optic cable. The video image is viewed as a wall-sized image via an LCD projection system.
  • CD150 cannot host Two-way Teleconferences. (built in video cameras, etc). Outside contractors would have to be hiredto host a 2-way live teleconference.
  • Costs vary widely and are determined by the production facility broadcasting the teleconference.
