Dr. John Kobayashi
Dr. Kobayashi is a senior epidemiologist at the Washington State Public Health Laboratory. He is one of the premier epidemiologists in the country and has done much work in the area of enteric diseases, particularly E.coli O157:H7.
Introduction
I will spend a good part of my time talking about E.coli O157:H7, particularly from the perspective of what has happened in Washington State from 1984 to the present. Also, I will talk about a problem with salmonella typhimurium, type DT104.
