Washington Trucking Association
Washington Trucking Association Our partner organization, the Washington Trucking Associations (WTA), has expressed great interest in taking an active step for the promotion of health in the trucking industry. They have personal buy-in for adopting preventable measures to endorse the widespread implementation of economically and ergonomically justified innovations to improve the health and safety in the Washington State trucking industry. The WTA has substantial knowledge of the day-to-day operations and challenges, as well as the economic realities, faced by this industry owners and truck drivers. They will not only assist with recruitment of participants for the study, but their collaboration will also help the researchers approach the trucker driers in a culturally competent and appropriate manner.
