International Mobility Grant Program
Each fall, the Marc Lindenberg Center invites UW faculty
and researchers at all campuses to apply for funding to take
up to four students with them on an international research
or service project or to attend or present at a conference
in a developing country. The purpose of this grant program
is to allow a greater number of students to have an international
learning experience as a component of their degree program.
It is also designed to encourage greater faculty-student collaboration
as well as mentoring by UW faculty members who are actively
engaged in international research or service in the developing
world.
In keeping with Marc Lindenberg’s vision, priority
is given to projects that address the compelling issues of
our time, including (but not limited to) sustainable development,
health, the environment, political and social empowerment,
and poverty alleviation.
