• Ricardo de Mambro Santos (University of Rome, La Sapienza), “The Gladiator Nun: Amarcord of a Fellinian Topos.” Includes a Slide Presentation of Fellini's Drawings on display at the Henry Art Gallery and of the largely unknown and privately owned Erotomachia collection.

Evening Event at the Henry Art Gallery. "The Lost Ending"

• A documentary film about the ending of 8½ introduced by the documentary's director, Mario Sesti. This documentary explores a single scene from a masterpiece about which we thought we knew everything. Upon discovering a photograph by Gideon Bachman, who documented the film as it was being made, Italian film critic Mario Sesti has determined that there was an original ending to the film. This photo, and others are at the center of this fascinating documentary. Ticket Price $10. Free for Students.
