Jason Aldred, MD FAAN
Dr. Jason Aldred is a board-certified neurologist in Spokane, WA who directs the Selkirk Neurology HDSA Center of Excellence Partner Site. Dr. Aldred completed his neurology residency and two-year movement disorders fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University focused on clinical pharmacology in movement disorders. He is a member of the Huntington Study Group and conducts clinical trials in Huntington Disease at Inland Northwest Research which is a Huntington Study Group site also located in Spokane, WA.
Molly Bartleson, LICSW
Molly comes to Selkirk Neurology with over 20 years experience in behavioral health and social services in Spokane County. She received her master’s in social work from Eastern Washington University in 2003 and received her clinical social work license in 2013. Molly will develop patient-centered treatment plans promoting psychological well-being and cognitive function and assist with our HD community by helping navigate the support services needed with the disease progression. She is also coordinating and overseeing our local Huntington’s support group that was just established January 2023. A portion of Molly’s position is made possible through a generous grant from the Huntington’s Disease Society of America (HDSA) Center of Excellence award at Selkirk Neurology.
Kristine Wessels, PA-C
Kristy comes to Selkirk Neurology with over 20 years experience working with adult and pediatric patients with complex medical needs. She has served the community as a medical provider with Group Health Northwest and most recently at the Deaconess hospital Rockwood clinics specializing in neurology with a focus on epilepsy and seizure disorders management. She joins our comprehensive care team for Movement Disorders working closely alongside Dr. Aldred and Megan Foster to provide quality care for Selkirk patients living with neurodegenerative disease. Kristy has a BA from Seattle University and a BS from the St. Louis University School of Allied Health. She is boarded under the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants.
Danielle Wald, PsyD
Dr. Wald is a licensed psychologist and clinical neuropsychologist at Providence Spokane Neuroscience Institute. Dr. Wald has specialized training in the evaluation of patients with Parkinson’s disease & movement disorders. She completes pre and postsurgical deep brain stimulation (DBS) evaluations. Dr. Wald received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the Washington School of Professional Psychology. She then completed a pre-internship from the University of Washington Regional Epilepsy Center and internship from the APA accredited University of Kansas School of Medicine. Dr. Wald completed a two-year neuropsychology postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Florida.
