Housed in the 16th century tower of the Palacio del Conde Luna, the
University of Washington León Center aims to foster disciplinary and interdisciplinary programs that will benefit from its unique location in
the historic medieval center of León, Spain. By providing a space that can be used for study abroad programs, academic research, conferences, exhibits
and cultural events, our goal is to create a resource that fosters understanding and compassion between cultures, and that will cultivate
global citizens who are tolerant, respectful of cultural diversity, and who have sense of themselves as responsible members of a global community.
