Connecting to Canvas

Connecting to Canvas allows you to import Canvas course rosters into Poll Everywhere and is necessary to export graded poll scores to Canvas.

The import process places students into groups that correspond to the Canvas courses from which they were generated and makes entering points into the Canvas Gradebook less labor-intensive than manually updating it.

Self-registration is not enable on the UW account so importing course rosters from Canvas is required if you want students to log in to Poll Everywhere. This helps to ensure that students are logged in to Poll Everywhere using their default email address Canvas, which is how Poll Everywhere processes scores.
