Professor Ramulu and Professor K. Ravi-Chander of University of Texas at Austin organized a Symposium Honoring Albert S. Kobayashi, with his former students, colleagues, collaborators, and friends during the ASME Applied Mechanics Division's McMat 2007 Conference in Austin. This symposium was to coincide with an award-, ASME’s Drucker Medal to Albert and McMat Conference jointly sponsored by the Applied Mechanics Division and the Materials Division of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, held in June 3 through June 7, 2007.
