Neuroscience for Everyone 3/1

Join us for the second of our quarterly seminar series!

Winter quarter’s ‘Neuroscience For Everyone’ will feature:

Dr. Suman Jayadev & Dr. Thomas Bird

They will presenting a discussion on the state of research on Alzheimer’s and Dementia Diseases.

Admission is FREE.

Dr. Jayadev provides care to patients who have Huntington disease, spinocerebellar ataxias, muscular dystrophies, Charcot Marie Tooth disease, inherited dementias and other inherited diseases. Her research is focused on neuroinflammation and neurodegeneration.

Dr. Bird has worked in research and medicine for over 35 years. He has identified new and unusual genetic diseases of the brain and neuromuscular system and collaborated with molecular biologists to identify the underlying genes of diseases including Familial Alzheimer’s Disease, Frontotemporal Dementia, Huntington’s Disease, Hereditary Ataxias, Charcot-Marie-Tooth Neuropathies, Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia, and Muscular Dystrophies.
