Research Training Program

Research training in areas identified in the National Occupational Research Agenda is a central construct of each of the academic programs within the Northwest Center for Occupational Health and Safety. Trainees are introduced to all areas of NORA through our introductory and advanced coursework. While the ERC traineeships for each of the component areas of the NWCOHS are distributed to students by their individual programs, the NORA program traineeships are used for advanced research training by the highest qualified students. The support is used only for students actively engaged in NORA-related research – generally doctoral students or advanced MS students.

The NWCOHS also supports pilot/small project research training programs. The program is currently under development. Contact us at nwcohs@u.washington.edu for further information.
