Graduate Student Outreach Program

A group of graduate student volunteers are available to visit your school or community event to educate relevant topics of oceanography and marine science.

REVEL

The REVEL (Research and Education: Volcanoes, Exploration, and Life) Program provides K-12 teachers the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge science research while participating in a sea-going research cruise. More information is available at the REVEL website.


ORCA Bowl
The University of Washington hosts the annual Washington State Ocean Sciences Bowl competition (ORCA Bowl).  This academic tournament tests student's knowledge of ocean sciences.  The winning team qualifies to participate in the national competition.  Find more information ORCA Bowl at this website.
