Greg Felsted

Greg Felsted received a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Brigham Young University in 2017 after performing research in the laboratory of Dr. Steven Goates on Solvating Gas Chromatography as a means of reducing chemical separation and purification times for small molecules. He operated as the laboratory manager for Dr. Steven Goates for two years while still an undergraduate student at the time. Immediately following his undergraduate degree, he began pursuing his doctoral degree at the University of Washington with Dr. Peter Pauzauskie. His research interests include laser trapping and probing the cavity optomechanics of laser cooling particles in various media.
