QTIIG: Queer Women and Trans Individuals Interest Group

We are weekly discussion for queer wwomen and transgender individuals and help to produce activism events such as Transgender Awareness Week.

Where: Q Center - Schmitz Hall 450
When: Tuesdays from 4pm - 5pm

UW Queer Straight Alliance (QSA)

A group for all identities to come together socially and ally themselves in the fight for social justice on and off campus, focusing on queer issues.

Where: Q Center - Schmitz Hall 450
When: Wednesdays from 4:30pm - 5:30pm

Q-POCA: Queer People of Color Alliance

We aim to provide a safe space for queer people of color and allies to discuss GLBT issues as they intersect with culture, sex/gender, ethnicity, race, religion, or ability. We hope to share our experiences and to further inform and educate the greater community to respect and understand diversity.

QUEERying Scripture (Queer Bible Study)

A safe, affirming space for LGBTQ Christians and anyone interested in the intersection of faith and sexuality to meet each other, share their stories, and discuss Scripture and Christian social justice traditions as they relate to the struggles faced today by queer people everywhere.

Where: Q Center - Schmitz Hall 450 (back conference room)
When: Thursdays from 4:30pm - 5:30pm

Transformers

Transformers is a social, community building, and discussion group for people who identify or experience themselves as transgender, transsexual, gender queer, gender questioning, gender blending and/or other ways of describing the experience and being of living between or beyond the gender binaries of male and female.

When: Fridays from 4:30-5:30 pm

Queer Womens' Book Club

A bi-weekly book reading and discussion group for queer-identifying women.

Where: Q Center - Schmitz Hall 450
When: Wednesdays at 7pm
