  The Research Center for International Economics (RCIE) is an international research center established at the University of Washington. It is housed at the Department of Economics.

  • Asia-Pacific e-Newsletter, September 30, 2008

  • The second annual training program on economic and BA writing and publishing was held in Seattle on August 11 - 29, 2008. For more details and application, please click here.

  • The Busan conference organized by the Center, KEBA, and BRIA on "FTA, Regional Integration, and Development" was successfully held on the campus of Pusan National University, Busan, Korea. For more information, please click here.

  • The first advanced training program, jointly organized by the Center and the Department of Economics, was successfully held on the campus of the university, August 13 - 31, 2007. The program has 27 participants coming from Korea, Taiwan, Japan, and Thailand. For more details of the program, including a graduation picture, please click here.

  • Due to unexpected reasons, the local host of the conference on "WTO, China, and the Asian Economies," scheduled to held on the campus of Harbin Institute of Technology in July 2007, has been canceled.
