Applicants are invited for several positions (open for all ranks) in the Department of Economics. Candidates should possess Ph.D. (or Ph.D. expected soon) in economics or related fields by May 2005, with demonstrated excellence in scholarship. Open to all fields; however, priority will be given to the candidates who specialize in one or two of the following fields: economic history, public finance, macroeconomics, money and banking, macroeconomic aspects of public finance, macroeconomic policy, welfare economics, institutional economics, econometric theory and comparative economic systems. A good command of Mandarin is preferred. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to give a talk at the Department.
