Applying Gap Analysis to Local Land Use Planning
NEHRP 03158: Inventorying Buildings and Critical
Structures Using Statistical Sampling and Remote Sensing
|The Remote Sensing Applications Laboratory
(RSAL) was founded in 1971 to pioneer the research and development
of applications of the emerging technologies of remote sensing to urban
and regional planning. Past projects include land use/land
cover mapping and change analysis throughout the Northwest, growth management
monitoring using satellite imagery and cartographic database, and flood
extent determination using satellite imagery.
This WWW site will serve to provide information concerning RSAL projects
and provide links to resources and other WWW sites useful to faculty and
students We are in the earliest phases of development so please check
back often for updates and new postings.
