The Houston City Flood Inundation Forecasting and Management system is a collaborative project among University of Washington SASWE Research Group, University of Houston and Harris County Flood Control District. The goal of this system is to develop an operationally skillful flood inundation forecasting and management system that can be independently owned and managed by Harris County Flood Control District. The developers are grateful to the HCFDC for the close technical support provided. The data and guidance provided by HCFCD have helped conduct the research and develop the urban flood forecasting system.
