Cross-Cultural Families (CCFAM) Project

CCFAM is investigating the developmental trajectories of 329 Vietnamese and Cambodian immigrant children. Results seek to better understand the factors and mechanisms that are contributing to maladaptive development processes as well as those that buffer risk.

  • Longitudinal data were collected from youth, their parents, teacher and school from 2001 to 2005.
  • Unique minority group – Cambodian and Vietnamese adolescent immigrants.
  • High consent rates and excellent retention rates across all components.
