I am interested in the study of protein structure and conformational dynamics using magnetic resonance and computational modeling. Site directed spin labeling and electron paramagnetic resonance can be used to probe flexible sites of proteins under a variety of conditions allowing us to map conformational landscapes in response to different stimuli. Understanding the natural laws governing protein structure and conformational change will ideally lead to improved modeling techniques for biomedical research and protein design.
