********* Name one your favorite heroes and tell us why you chose this hero. Jose Rizal, the Philippine National Hero: he is my hero because he got me thinking deeply about what national identity really means. He wrote the novels, Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo, which taught me so much about the Philippine history, and have helped me understand why the Philippines is the way that it is now, why Filipinos act a certain way, etc. It’s amazing how reading [his novels] has changed my plans in life. ********* IF you were an evil villain, what would you name yourself and why? If I were an evil villain, I would name myself G-Girl [after Uma Thurman’s role in My Super Ex-Girlfriend]. I turn really evil when someone breaks my heart, so you better be careful :) I consider G-Girl as a tragic villain. She does not truly intend to become a villain but is seen as one, only because she is trying to protect herself from getting emotionally hurt. ********* If you were given the chance to steal a super hero’s power, what would it be? I would love to have the ability to fly, so I don’t have to buy airplane tickets, drive, or take the bus. Plane tickets are so expensive, gas prices are going up, and I don’t like waiting for the bus. ********* If you were a super hero, what would your weakness be? Hot, tall Chinese guys. ha ha. *********
