Who is your favorite superhero?

Batman! He’s a “normal” human with super-human intellect.

If you could have a super power, what would it be? How would you use it?

If I could have any superpower, it would probably be telepathy. It is the most useful power, in my opinion. I could get things organized 10 times faster (just think of [the movie] Mathilda!), I could even play piano without touching the keys or use my ability to enhance my playing. I would even be able to fly, because I could carry myself through the air!

If you were on a deserted island with one other person who would it be and why?

Weirdest survey question ever! Honestly, if I was to be stranded on a desert island with someone, it would probably be Mr. Uhlman, my 10th grade LA teacher/current mentor. He’s the best LA teacher I’ve ever had and I could imagine us having lots of conversations about books, music and opera. As an added bonus, he could teach me his class on classic literature! (an opportunity I wouldn’t otherwise get since he only teaches 10th grade now. Urg!)

If you can meet anyone dead or alive who would it be? What would you do with them?

Frederic Chopin! He’s my favorite composer; words cannot describe how much I love his music. It’s the music I’d create if I were a composer, an indication of how strongly I connect to it. I would just like to talk with him and see what kind of person he was, and maybe play piano with him. That would be amazing!
