Link Light Rail (Central Link)

Seattle's new Link Light Rail is available for quick and inexpensive transportation between downtown and the airport. Other transportation options from Sea-Tac include taxis and airport shuttle services.

Travel from Airport

Travel Time: 40-45 minutes

The Sea-Tac Airport station provides Link direct service between Sea-Tac International Airport and downtown Seattle. Sea-Tac Airport Station connects to the airport garage via a pedestrian walkway. Airport passengers will follow a separated walkway through the garage to the main terminal. Luggage carts are available at the station.

Arrivals: From Sea-Tac Airport baggage claim, proceed across the skybridge to the parking garage, level 4, and follow the signs to the SeaTac Link (Central) Light Rail loading area. Board the train and proceed to the Westlake Center transit tunnel station. Exit the train and follow the signs to the Westlake Center exit. Proceed one block north on 5th Avenue to The Westin Seattle.

Departures: From The Westin Seattle, proceed one block south on Fifth Avenue to Westlake Center. Follow signs to the transit tunnel station. Board the Link (Central) train and proceed to the SeaTac Airport Station.

Downtown Airporter

Fee: 15 USD; Adults: one way - $15.00, roundtrip - $25.00; children 12 years and under travel free. One child (2-12 years of age) is eligible for each paying adult.

The Downtown Airporter provides service between SeaTac Airport and the major downtown hotels, including The Westin Seattle, 24 hours a day. During peak travel times (4am - 8:30pm daily), buses leave the airport and hotels approximately every 30 minutes. During off peak times (8:30pm - 4am daily), reservations are required as service is provided on an "as needed" basis.

Tickets may be purchased online at www.downtownairporter.com (valid credit card, email address and printer required), or by calling the reservation center at 1-800-324-9227. Tickets are also available at the Downtown Airporter ticket booth located on Level 3 of the Parking Garage, near the purple elevator banks and the airport’s Ground Transportation booth, or from the driver when boarding. Payment methods accepted include: cash, local check, credit/debit card or traveler's check on the day of travel. All major credit cards are accepted.

To board a bus at Sea-Tac Airport, follow the signs to ground transportation, taxis, limos, and hotel shuttles on the third floor of the parking garage. The buses arrive and depart on Island 2. Hotel guests can board the bus on the Lower Level of Westlake Avenue, in front of valet parking.
