Unique Dining Opportunity with Food Network Celebrity Chef!
UW Dining and The Whole U are thrilled to host a special dinner in appreciation of UW leaders at all levels. Our Leading Fork Appreciation Dinner is May 21, 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. on the Seattle campus. Celebrity chef, New York restaurateur, and Iron Chef American and The Next Iron Chef competitor Jehangir Mehta, who will be on campus in celebration of Mushroom May-nia, will be cooking this amazing appreciation dinner. Develop an Endurance Mindset
Neal Dempsey: UW alum, entrepreneur, generous donor, 100+ marathoner, and the list goes on. You might recognize his name from a few buildings on campus–Dempsey Hall and Dempsey Indoor training facility–plus several endowments, fellowships, and scholarships. He is an accomplished man that gives so much. How does he do it? Bring your lunch and learn how having an endurance mindset in this game called life can take you farther than you ever imagined on Thursday, May 29 from 11:30 – 12:30 in the HUB South Ballroom. Commit to the Summer of FUNction Fitness Challenge!
Register yourself and a few UW colleagues for our summer fitness challenge. The challenge starts June 2 and you must complete a checklist of fun activities as a team by August 24. Successful teams will be have a chance to attend a BBQ with President Young and Mrs. Young to celebrate being active.

Volunteer with The Whole U Water Station 16 team!
On June 21, The Whole U will be sponsoring Water Station 16 at the 10.5 mile marker for the Seattle Rock ‘n’ Roll half marathoners and the 23.6 mile marker for the full marathoners. Handing out water is super fun and important to thousands of runners and walkers (including the 145 who have signed up to train for the marathon with The Whole U) that complete the race to raise money for a number of charitable causes. Be part of our Whole U Race Crew by volunteering from 6 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. Family members including children ages 10+ are welcome to join this volunteer opportunity. Register Now!
