Health Sciences Administration

Health Sciences Administration (HSA) consists of an administrative team and unit structure that provides essential research, services, centralized resources and support to advance the vision, core values, and culture of the University of Washington.

Six departments and three interdisciplinary research centers comprise HSA. Directors of each of these entities report to the Executive Director of Health Sciences Administration. Through research, services and programs in human and animal health, regulatory compliance, safety and risk management, Health Sciences Administration promotes best practices and interdisciplinary collaboration in an effective, sustainable work environment. As a centralized resource, HSA also coordinates and supports aspects of all Health Sciences schools, including, personnel and student health and safety, space planning and management, risk management, the Board of Health Sciences Deans, and instructional and administrative support.
