PEDS 638 – Pediatric Cardiology – Missoula

Student Experience
Student will experience Pediatric Cardiology in a somewhat rural setting. Students will observe clinic visits, ECGs, echocardiograms, and exercise stress tests. Opportunities for direct discussion and teaching on an individual basis as well as time for independent learning.
Credentialing

This site requires current TB testing. Please ensure you are aware of this and comply with the sites requirements.

Schedule
Typical schedule is clinic days from 9-5pm Monday through Thursday and 9-1pm on Fridays. Occasional opportunities for inpatient consultation.
Recreation and other areas of interest
In the winter months there are several local ski resorts within 1-2 hours. Extensive access to public lands for cross country skiing, snow shoeing, etc. In summer months, access to outdoor activities of all sorts from fishing, hiking, river floats and boating. Located in a University town with active arts and entertainment schedule year round.
