PEDS 650 – Pediatric Clinical Clerkship – Moses Lake, WA

Moses Lake lies in the heart of Central Washington. The lake itself is the second largest freshwater lake in the state, where shorelines include lush parks, sandy dunes, and plenty of family-friendly neighborhoods. The town’s vicinity has steadily grown to its current population of about 22,000 and is the area’s ground and air transportation hub.

Growth has allowed many of the features of suburban living, yet it is surrounded by wide-open spaces and enjoys a “small town” feel. The climate is excellent, with four pleasant seasons and an abundant 300+ days of sunshine. With 139 lakes, Grant County is a boating, fishing, and bird hunting paradise.
