Housing Details:
Student housing and travel is provided for required and Advanced Patient Care eligible clerkships only. If this clinical clerkship is taken as a required or Advanced Patient Care eligible course, students will be contacted by the Idaho WWAMI office at idwwami@uw.edu. Students are responsible for confirming whether they WILL or WILL NOT need to stay in the WWAMI medical student housing in a timely fashion. Prior to accessing the housing students are required to complete the necessary paperwork and provide a check for damage deposit.
If this clinical clerkship is taken as an elective course, students are responsible for arranging their own housing.
The UW SoM WWAMI Student Travel web site is managed by the GoWWAMI team and is the best resource for students who have questions about travel and travel reimbursement.

Credentialing

Student credentialing and onboarding for clerkships that rotate through the St. Luke’s Health System are now handled via myClinicalExchange, a web-based platform. The Idaho WWAMI office will add the rotation dates to myClinicalExchange and the St. Luke’s Health System team will then approve the rotation and review any onboarding documents within that system.

There will be a cost to create an account to use the program.

All scheduling will continue be completed through the UWSOM’s registrar’s office, so you should not be making any changes to or requesting rotations in myClinicalExchange.
