RUCA Version 1.11
Overview
The RUCA code Version 1.11 data available for download on this site is the first publically released version of the ZIP-approximation of the census tract-based RUCA codes and uses 1998 ZIP codes and 1990 Census commuting data.
The more up-to-date ZIP-approximation RUCA codes, Version 2.0, is also available for download on this site. Version 2.0 is based on 2000 Census commuting data and is available for both 2004 and 2006 ZIP codes.
