Daniel Hershman-Rossi teaches K-5 Music and Choir at Clearview Elementary in Waukegan, Illinois.

Daniel earned degrees in Music Education and Trombone Performance at the University of Washington, where he studied trombone with Ko-Ichiro Yamamoto and performed with the UW Symphony Orchestra, UW Wind Ensemble, and the Seattle Chamber Brass, a student-run professional brass quintet. Prior to moving to Illinois, Daniel taught 4th and 5th grade band and strings in the Seattle School District.

As a teacher, Mr. Hershman-Rossi is particularly interested in world music, culturally responsive music education, and social justice.
