The University of Washington Geographic Information Service (WAGIS) was conceived to facilitate cooperation between geographic information system (GIS) data producers and users in Washington State and to generate data and research relevant for the Pacific Northwest. WAGIS is currently conceptual in nature although we hope to create a more permanent center in the future. The WAGIS website is managed by Luke Rogers of the University of Washington's School of Environmental and Forest Sciences.
