2012 Graduate Student Symposium
The fifth annual Chemical Engineering Graduate Symposium is to be held on September 20th, 2012, from 8:30 – 5 .
About the Event
This event provides a fantastic opportunity for students from the department to present their research to representatives from industry. For the representatives from industry, this even provides a chance to meet future research leaders and to learn about the exiting work being done in ChemE@UW. Students will give short research talks and present posters on topics ranging from alternative energy to biotechology to molecular engineering. This year’s events will be kicked off with a welcome speech from Dean Matthew O’Donnell, and will be followed by short research talks and posters from students and a keynote address delivered by Dr. Montgomery Alger, Chief Technology Officer of Air Products and Chemicals..
