CoMotion Labs seeks to hire a problem-solving, service-oriented Student Assistant to provide support at CoMotion Labs HQ. Students who excel at completing the core operational work efficiently will be given additional opportunities to spend time on community support projects or business planning activities.
The Student Assistant will primarily support the Operations Manager at HQ. An Ideal employee is highly tech-savvy and can assist with technology trouble-shooting. In addition, s/he must be interested in Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality.’
Duties and Responsibilities
– Manage room booking system, track and maintain inventory, file and organize contracts and other documents, keep shared kitchen and lab facilities prepared for immediate use, collect and distribute mail, and other office duties as assigned.
– Support members with a variety of facility and program requests, ensuring needs are met, either by following up directly or by coordinating with the team.
-Welcome and provide tours to guests, answer or route general email inquiries and voicemails, and answer the phone.
– Assist with the drafting of online communication content such as internal email newsletters, website copy, and social media posts.
– Coordinate value-add member support initiatives such as member events and trainings.
– Project-based work, including research projects to examine the efficacy of programs offered or suggested, and other questions.
– Provide feedback for new tech and systems
– Other duties as assigned.
