Amplifier is a nonprofit design lab behind and the organization behind the “We the People” campaign, the artwork for the Women’s March and March For Our Lives.
Throughout civilizations, the flag has been used as a tool to communicate, symbolize and represent a nation’s culture, ambitions and values. We are asking artists to reimagine the American flag in a way that’s inclusive of their community, represents their story, and their ideals. This could be a flag for just your community, or one that truly encompasses us all.
Three artists will be selected and awarded $500 each. Their work will be featured as a public art campaign, short video, and made available as free, high-resolution downloads for communities to use in their organizing.
Students can register and submit at community.amplifier.org
