We are seeking a Product Photographer who will work closely with our marketing and product teams to plan, produce, shoot, edit, and catalog product and lifestyle images across collateral and channels.
Why You’re Rad (about you):
- 5+ years of professional photography experience, either working in-house or consulting for a brand
- Understanding of the nuance and controllable elements of studio photography and able to adapt on the fly to conditions, lighting, and shifting narratives of outdoor composition
- Technical fluency with DSLR cameras and other photographic equipment, lenses, natural and artificial (on- and off-camera) lighting, and photo editing software
- A keen eye for detail and composition and a well-developed creative aesthetic
- Stickler for pre-production/planning, creative briefs, detailed shot lists, capturing metadata, naming and cataloging files
- A mood board for every shoot to set the inspiration
- Expert in digital photo editing for multiple delivery platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, especially under pressure
- Cross-functional collaboration to optimize production and delivery processes
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, hit deadlines, and learn quickly in an ever-changing environment
- Skilled at online research, trendstalking, and staying on top of best creative practices
- Experience establishing photo guidelines in conjunction with external partners and teammates
- Experience auditing product and lifestyle photography per brand guidelines to identify gaps and opportunities
- Perpetual learner, never content with what’s been done or status quo
