The Colorization Collective accepting Teen Artists of Color Mentorship Applications

The Colorization Collective, an organization that supports teen artists of color, has opened up applications for their free summer mentorship program, co-produced with TeenTix, which will connect BIPOC teen writers, visual artists, and performers with professional artists of color over the course of 5 weeks.

2022 Summer Mentorship for Teen Artists of Color. Application deadline: April 30th at 11:59 PM PST. This opportunity is for writers, visual artists, and performers.

Teens will be put into either a writing, visual arts, or performing arts cohort, and each group will be paired with a professional mentor of color to workshop their artwork over the course of 5 weeks. Teens in the program will also have the opportunity to participate in optional workshops during the school year, as well as present their finished work during the TeenTix Teen Arts and Opportunities Fair in June of 2023. This program is entirely virtual and will take place on Wednesdays (10 AM PST – 1 PM PST) from July – August.
