Position Overview:

The Industrial Design intern will be part of a growing creative community at Stanley and, through invention and originality, will help drive designs that inspire consumers to create a more sustainable and less disposable life and world.

As an intern on the Industrial Design team, you will assist in sketching, concept generation, research, product development and testing for a wide range of high performance and innovative products in the food and beverage containment industry. This role reports into the Sr. Manager of Industrial Design and will work closely with the team in all aspects of product creation. You will support the delivery of category driven consumer experiences that inform and align with Stanley’s 111 years of product integrity.

The internship is a 12-week commitment running from either June 3rd – August 23rd, or June 17th to September 6th. This is a hybrid role with expectations of coming into the office about 2 – 3 times a week.

What You’ll Do:

Industrial Design

  • Collaborate with the Industrial Design and product creation team.
  • Assist in the design & development of new products through research, concept generation, sketching, CAD & prototyping.
  • Organizational projects around digital material libraries and other design asset libraries
  • Create visuals using Keyshot or other rendering software.
  • Publish product stories, collaboration & research using Mural.

  • Able to inform and communicate design intent through storytelling.

  • Effective at producing compelling deliverables and quick turn task work.
  • Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Design or related Product Development degree.
  • Strong sketching and conceptual creation skills.
  • Familiar with 3D CAD software (Solidworks preferred), rendering software (Keyshot preferred) and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Portfolio examples of current project work that illustrate your strengths and skills.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Brand Marketing Intern to join our team for a summer filled with contributing to a range of marketing initiatives across owned and earned channels, events and activations. You will think big and work hard, helping to create and execute seasonal plans and product launches, unleashing compelling content that will appeal to new and existing brand fans. In this unique opportunity working within the Brand Marketing team, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in brand leadership, organic social, retail marketing, PR and communications; you’ll find the learning opportunities are only limited by your imagination.

While this is a hybrid role, you must be located in the Seattle area to be considered.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Contribute to the design and execution of marketing initiatives, such as product launches, PR campaigns, retail programs and social storytelling
  • Participate in sourcing, briefing and managing content creators, influencers and tastemakers as they use their voices to bring the Stanley brand to life
  • Help build a compelling campus experience working with premier agency partners and cross-functional teams
  • Engage, nurture and grow our social media communities across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
  • Assist in the planning, creation and deployment of social media content for our rapidly growing channels
  • Track results of various initiatives to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
  • Own individual projects as you contribute to others, and proactively communicate workflow milestones

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing relevant degree and/or recent college graduate holding relevant credentials/experience
  • Experience with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
